- Small Magnet: Any light-weight or small magnet will do. (hint: magnets are commonly available on Amazon. Most already come with some type of adhesive!)

A PDF with helpful hints and assembly instructions will be included!
- 2. Prepare Your Material: We recommend that you mask your selected material (⅛” wood or acrylic) in order to prevent burn marks. Remember, for easy assembly, apply 3M tape to the back of your material prior to cutting! If you opted to paint prior to cutting/engraving, make sure it's completely dry before proceeding with masking!
- 3. Time to Laser! Upload the sliding dishwasher magnet SVG file to your Glowforge software. Adjust the cutting/engraving settings based on your material chosen. The file will upload your design to a standard dishwasher magnet size. Feel free to resize to your liking! Be sure the steps are properly assigned to cut/engrave/score. Then hit print and let the machine do the work!
- 4. Assembly: This magnet will have 3 layers! Your purchase includes a PDF with helpful hints and instructions for assembly. Please follow carefully!
- 5. Attach the Magnet: Once your Glowforge finishes the work, and you have assembled the 3 layers, use a strong adhesive to attach a small magnet to the back of your creation.
